May 21, 2019 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** May 21, 2019 SAUKVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT 649 E GREEN BAY AVE, SAUKVILLE, WI 53080 Village Trustee David Maglio called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-absent, David Maglio-present, Richard Belling- present, Scott Fischer- present, Trevor Seitz-present, Jim Nowlen-absent, and Andy Hebein-present. APPROVE MINUTES OF May 7, 2019, 2019 MEETING Fischer/Belling made a motion to approve the May 7, 2019 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT No report. Chief Meyer swore in the new Police Officer – Cameron Deppiesse. Cameron’s badge was pinned by his mother, Pamela Deppiesse. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR Wagner congratulated Officer Deppiesse. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS Res. #1291 – Approving Appointment of Interim Judge for the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court Baumann read Res. #1291 – Approving Appointment of Interim Judge for the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court. Seitz/Belling made a motion to approve Res. #1291 – Approving Appointment of Interim Judge for the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court. Motion carried. Res. #1292 – Setting Fees with Updated Fee Schedule Baumann read Res. #1292 – Setting Fees with Updated Fee Schedule. Fischer/Seitz made a motion to approve Res. #1292 – Setting Fees with Updated Fee Schedule. Motion carried. May 21, 2019 REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No report. Public Works Committee No report. Public Safety Committee No report. Finance Committee Maglio reported on the meeting of May 21, 2019. Claims for April in the amount of $215,025.30 were reviewed and approved. The Budget Watch and Investment report were reviewed. Resolution #1292 was recommended for approval. Other Matters: Staff attended “New Stress Management” training. Staff will attend additional training in September – “Respect in the Workplace”. The Finance/Village Board meetings will be held June 18th, July 23rd, August 13th, and August 27th. Lee provided an update on Camping World. The case was settled out of court and there will be no changes to the business. The lease is still in place. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission No report. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee A request for outdoor screening for A-1 Fence, 740 N. Dekora Woods Blvd was reviewed and recommended to the Plan Commission for a Conditional Use Permit. Library Board The minutes for the May 14, 2019 meeting were in the packet for review. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association No report. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS None. LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS (See Attached) May 21, 2019 CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED None.
