Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:03 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-absent, Richard Belling- present, Scott Fischer-
present, Trevor Seitz-present, Jim Nowlen-absent, and Andy Hebein-present.
Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Vicki Lee, Michelle Jaeger, Ray deBruijn,
Chief Meyer, Laurie Miske, Kim Buechler, Officers E. Ramthun, R. Ramthun,

APPROVE MINUTES OF AUGUST 13, 2019 MEETING
Seitz/Belling made a motion to approve the August 13, 2019 minutes as presented. Motion
carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
Chief Meyer performed the Swearing In Ceremony for Officer Amani Anjum. Officer Anjum’s
badge was pinned on by his mother.
Dickmann welcomed Officer Anjum to the team.
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
Wagner welcomed Office Anjum.
PUBLIC HEARING - to hear comments regarding a Zoning Ordinance text amendment
requested by Village staff to create §205-58.K to provide that ground-mounted electric
power generating photovoltaic solar panel arrays and connector equipment located on
publicly owned land shall be a conditional use in the B-P Business Park District
Wagner stated that a request has been made to install solar panels on publicly owned property
in the Village.
Wagner stated that this request has been reviewed and recommended by CDA and Plan
Commission.
Hearing no further comments, Dickmann requested a motion to adjourn the Public Hearing.
Belling/Fischer made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Roll call vote was taken with all in
favor. Motion carried at 8:10 p.m.

Provisions. Motion carried.
Belling/Hebein made a motion to waive the reading of Ord. #798 - Amending Chapter 94.

Seitz/Fischer made a motion to approve Ord. #799 – Amending §§19-7, 19-8, 19-9, 19-10, 19-11
and 19-12 – Fire Department. Motion carried.

Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of August 27, 2019.
Claims for July, 2019 in the amount of $584,314.51 were reviewed and approved.
August 27, 2019
The Budget Watch and Investment Report were reviewed.
Committee went in to Closed Session with no action being taken.
Ord. #799 was reviewed and recommended for approval.
There will be a gathering at the Fire Department on Monday, September 9th. Gilly invited all
Committee members to attend.
The next Finance/Village Board meetings will be held on Wednesday, September 11th. The
Board will recognize Chief Schultz’s years of service at that time.

Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of August 27, 2019.
A request for outdoor storage at Kohler Co., 300 Dekora Woods Blvd was reviewed and
recommended to the Plan Commission for Public Hearing.
Library Board
No report.
Mid-Moraine Municipal Association
No report.
