September 11, 2019 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** September 11, 2019 SAUKVILLE MUNICIPAL CENTER 639 E GREEN BAY AVE, SAUKVILLE, WI 53080 Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-present, Richard Belling- present, Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, Jim Nowlen-present, and Andy Hebein- present. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Vicki Lee, Michelle Jaeger, Ray deBruijn, Chief Meyer, Saukville Fire Dept Members, Schultz family, and Dan Benson- Ozaukee Press PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS None. APPROVE MINUTES OF AUGUST 27, 2019 MEETING Maglio/Belling made a motion to approve the August 27, 2019 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Dickmann presented Fire Chief Gilly Schultz with a plaque of appreciation and a gift card from the Village Board. Dickmann thanked Schultz for his dedication and many years of service to the Village of Saukville. Trustee Trevor Seitz, on behalf of the Village, presented Schultz with a shadow box commemorating his many years of service. Schultz spoke to all in attendance and thanked everyone for the honor of working with them over the past 44 years of which 19 were as Fire Chief. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR Wagner thanked Chief Schultz for his service to the Village. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS None. REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No report.  September 11, 2019 Public Works Committee No report. Public Safety Committee No report. Finance Committee Dickmann reported on the meeting of September 11, 2019. A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the 2020-2024 Intergovernmental Agreement of Building Inspection Services-Village of Grafton. Nowlen/Maglio made a motion to approve the 2020-2024 Intergovernmental Agreement of Building Inspection Services-Village of Grafton. Motion carried. Committee went into Closed Executive Session with no action being taken. Committee was reminded of the Mid-Moraine dinner on Wednesday, September 25th. Contact Mary Kay if you wish to attend. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission Dickmann reported on the meeting of September 11, 2019. A Public Hearing was held regarding a Conditional Use Permit for Kohler Co. The Conditional Use Permit for Kohler Co. was reviewed and approved. A sign permit request for True Essence-CBD was reviewed and approved. Other Matters: None. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee No report. Library Board The Library Board meeting scheduled for September 10th was postponed to September 17th. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association No report. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS Hebein/Nowlen made a motion to approve Operator License Applications for Fassbender for Railroad Station and Casper for Beck’s Green Bay Ave Mart. Motion carried. LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS None.  September 11, 2019 CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED None. ADJOURNMENT Maglio/Nowlen made a motion to adjourn to September 24, 2019.
