***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** May 2, 2023 SAUKVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT and VIA ZOOM 649 E. GREEN BAY AVE., SAUKVILLE, WI 53080 Village President Andy Hebein called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Julie Friede gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Andy Hebein-present, Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, William Rudolph-present, Jim Nowlen-present and Jesse Duckart-present. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Julie Friede, and Unidentified (via Zoom) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS None. APPROVE MINUTES OF APRIL 18, 2023 MEETING. Seitz/Fischer made a motion to approve minutes of April 18, 2023. Motion Carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Hebein read a proclamation celebrating Municipal Clerks Week and presented it to Clerk Friede. Hebein read a Poppy Day Proclamation. Legion members were present to receive the proclamation and distribute poppies. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR None. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS –PETITIONS REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No Report. Public Works/Cemetery Committee No Report. Next Meeting Scheduled for May 16, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. Public Safety Committee No Report. Finance Committee Hebein reported on the Meeting of May 2, 2023 Approved Claims for April 2023 in the Amount of $1,319,235.01. Reviewed Investment Report. Discussion Regarding Appointment Process for Vacant Village Trustee Position. No Action Taken. Other Matters Discussion on Committee Appointments, potentially change process in 2024. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission Approved Minutes of May 2, 2023 as presented. Reviewed and Approved the signage plan submitted by Mark Geirach – Ozaukee Food Alliance. Reviewed and Approved a new storage building submitted by Cliff Polheber – Living Hope Church and Here We Grow Preschool with all fees paid and the requirements required by the Village Building Inspector. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee No Report. Library Board No Report. Next Scheduled Meeting – Tuesday, May 9, 2023 @ 6:00 p.m. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association No Report. OPERATOR LICENSE APPROVALS None. LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS None. CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED None. ADJOURNMENT Seitz/Nowlen made a motion to adjourn.
