Village Board of Trustees 08 -26-2014 P a g e | 266 THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWELFTH LIMITED AGENDA MEETING Trustees’ Room Village Hall August 26, 2014 A Limited Agenda meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Scarsdale was held in the Trustees’ Room in Village Hall on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 8:52 A.M. Present were Mayor Steves, Trustees Brodsky (via teleconference), Lee, Martin, Pekarek, Samwick, and Stern. Also present were Village Manager Gatta, Deputy Village Manager Pappalardo, Village Attorney Esannason, Deputy Village Attorney D’Andrea, Village Treasurer McClure, and Assistant to the Village Manager Schnabel. ******** The minutes of the Board of Trustees Regular Meeting of August 12, 2014 were approved on a motion entered by Mayor Steves, seconded by Trustee Martin, and carried unanimously. ******** Bills & Payroll Trustee Samwick reported that he had audited the Abstract of Claims dated August 26, 2014 in the amount of $1,998,196.82 which includes $65,921.30 in Library Claims previously audited by a Trustee of the Library Board which were found to be in order and he moved that such payment be ratified. Upon motion duly made by Trustee Samwick and seconded by Trustee Pekarek, the following resolution was adopted unanimously: RESOLVED, that the Abstract of Claims dated August 26, 2014 in the amount of $1,998,196.82 is hereby approved. ******** Discussion A general discussion of the Board ensued, including the scheduling of future committee meetings; a Land Use Committee Meeting to be held on September 22, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. and also the possibility of rescheduling the Finance Committee meeting set for September 4th to Village Board of Trustees 08 -26-2014 P a g e | 267 September 3rd. Trustee Pekarek noted that she would like to schedule a Personnel Committee meeting regarding Committee appointments; this will be discussed at the next agenda meeting. ******** Future Meeting Schedule Mayor Steves announced the following future meeting schedule:  Thursday, September 4, 2014 – Finance Committee – 6:30 P.M. – 3rd Floor Meeting ` Room  Tuesday, September 9, 2014 – Finance Committee – 6:30 P.M. – Trustees’ Room  Tuesday, September 9, 2014 – Agenda Meeting – 7:30 P.M. – Trustees’ Room  Tuesday, September 9, 2014 – Board of Trustees – 8:00 P.M. – Rutherford Hall  Tuesday, September 23, 2015 – Joint Municipal Services & Personnel Committee – 6:00 P.M. – 3rd Floor Meeting Room  Tuesday, September 23, 2014 – Agenda Meeting – 7:30 P.M. – Trustees’ Room  Tuesday, September 23, 2014 – Board of Trustees – 8:00 P.M. – Rutherford Hall ******** Village Hall Schedule  Monday, September 1, 2014 – Labor Day – Village Hall Closed ******** There being no further business to come before the Board, Mayor Steves moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Trustee Lee and carried by a unanimous vote at 9:15 P.M.
