REGULARL Y SCHEDULED MEETING SCHENECTADY CITY December 14,2015 Council Meeting was called to order by the City Council President Margaret King at 7 :04 p.m. Room Chambers at City Hall. asked Frank to provide the Ms. King then called on Charles Thome to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The Deputy City Clerk called the roll and the following members of the City Council answered to be Present - Council members, Margaret King, Ed Kosiur, John Mootooveren, Leesa Perazzo, Vincent Riggi John Ferrari there were no to agenda out Resolution No. 2015-326 - A Resolution Recognizing the 7th Annual Broadway Choppers Toy Run in Support of the Toys for Tots. Representatives from the Friends of the Greenhouse were on hand and they extended their gratitude for the recognition by the Mayor and City Council. The resolution was moved by Mr. Kosiur and seconded by Mr. Mootooveren. The following speakers rose to be heard and their remarks are summarized: Anthony Carota, Schenectady - Noted it was good to see some of the Council members at the Miracle on Craig Street telethon on December . He then questioned the closing of the CVS off of Rosa Road in Schenectady. He added the closure of the CVS is a significant loss to residents in the area. He asked the Mayor and Council to look into the situation especially as it relates to senior residents in that neighborhood. He then noted the Council is reviewing snow removal wants  December 6 an apartment and the city needs to do city needs to keep streets Jason Planck, Schenectady Noted recent articles in the Schenectady Gazette were political nature and include information which is false. He specifically referenced letters to the editor from Chris Gardner and Ray Gillen. He noted the data on job creation is fuzzy and the Schenectady Gazette reported that Metroplex falsified job numbers in the past. She closed by asking for the installation of air conditioning units on the back side of city hall where the trees were taken out Council, declared MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL Ms. Porterfield appreciation donations collected to support on Street telethon which raised over $8,300. She also extended her appreciation to the volunteers, Assembly member Angelo Santabarbara who was the main host for the event OSM doing a great job with the broadcast. also thanked Philip Morris from Proctors and City Council members for attending and supporting the event. She closed by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Ms. Perazzo- Extended her congratulations to all involved with the Miracle on Craig Street telethon.
