Minutes of Schenectady Urban Renewal Agency July 2, 2012 Present: Chair Mayor Gary McCarthy Members: Barbara Blanchard, Denise Brucker, Carl Erikson, Peggy King Leesa Perazzo, Marion Porterfield, Vincent Riggi Staff: Steven Strichman Absent: None Chairman McCarthy called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Acceptance of minutes of March 19, 2012 – A motion to accept made by Ms. King was seconded by Ms. Perazzo and passed unanimously. ABO Report filed – Mr. Strichman reported that the 2011 Report was completed but not by the March 30, 2012 deadline. It cannot be submitted until the City’s Audit is adopted and posted on line. This did not occur until June, at which time the report was submitted. Resolution 2012-05 Sale of 319 State Street. The City Council previously approved the sale of this property to an entity owned by JT Pollard, but because the transfer was delayed, the City transferred the property to SURA. A motion to sell the property to 325 State Street LLC made by Ms. Perazzo was seconded by Ms. King and passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-06 Subordination of 404 Schenectady Street to Trustco. A motion to subordinate SURA’s deed restrictions made by Ms. King was seconded by Ms. Blanchard and passed unanimously. Mission Statement - Mr. Strichman reported that the ABO has found SURA’s Mission Statement to be insufficient, and noted that he will work on modifications to be presented at an upcoming meeting. Adjourn - There being no other business to come before the Board, a motion to adjourn made by Ms. King was seconded by Ms. Blanchard and passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 5:40. DRAFT
