Minutes of Schenectady Urban Renewal Agency City Hall Room 110 April 28, 2014 Present: Vice Chair Peggy King Members: Edward Kosiur, John Mootooveren, Leesa Perazzo, Marion Porterfield, Vincent Riggi Staff: Steven Strichman Absent: Mayor Gary McCarthy, Carl Erikson  Vice Chair King called the meeting to order at 6:42 p.m.  Acceptance of minutes of March 24, 2014 – A motion to accept made by Ms. Perrazo was seconded by Mr. Kosiur and passed unanimously.  Transfer Vrooman Street, 60.22-4-22 to City - Resolution 2014-05 A motion to approve the transfer made by Ms. Perrazo was seconded by Mr. Kosiur and passed unanimously.  Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement – for Eastern Avenue – Resolution 2014-06 Mr. Strichman described the Eastern Avenue Project that is now commencing through the cooperation of the Land Bank, Metroplex, the City IDA, the City of Schenectady and the Urban Renewal Agency. Because the Urban Renewal Agency owns land in the project area that will be potentially turned over to the Land Bank, Metroplex and the City IDA have requested all partners to enter into a Cooperation Agreement. This resolution authorizes the Mayor to take all actions necessary to enter into this agreement. A motion to approve the authorization made by Mr. Kosiur was seconded by Ms. Perazzo and passed unanimously.  Sale of 795 Eastern Avenue, 39.74-2-29 to Land Bank- Resolution 2014-07 Mr. Strichman discussed the Land Bank’s interest in the property at 795 Eastern Avenue as it is adjacent to a potential façade program. The Land Bank has already agreed to accept title for $1 and pay any necessary closing costs. A motion to approve the sale made by Ms. Perrazo was seconded by Ms. Porterfield and passed unanimously.  Adjourn. There being no other business to come before the Board, a motion to adjourn made by Mr. Kosiur was seconded by Mr. Riggi and passed unanimously. Ms. King declared the meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
