Minutes of Schenectady Urban Renewal Agency City Hall Room 110 July 7, 2014 DRAFT Present: Chair Mayor Gary R. McCarthy Members: Carl Erikson, Peggy King, Edward Kosiur, Leesa Perazzo, Marion Porterfield, Vincent Riggi Staff: Steven Strichman Absent: John Mootooveren  Chairman McCarthy called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.  Acceptance of minutes of April 28, 2014 – A motion to accept made by Mr. Kosiur was seconded by Ms. King and passed unanimously.  2013 Annual Report – Resolution 2014-08. A motion to accept the Annual Report made by Mr. Riggi was seconded by Ms. Porterfield and passed unanimously.  2013 Measurables Report – Resolution 2014-09. A motion to accept the Annual Report made by Ms. Perazzo was seconded by Mr. Kosiur and passed unanimously.  Other Business: Mr. Strichman asked that the following be put into the minutes: SURA has a minimal cash balance of $4,110 which is kept in a bank account. There is no need for the money to placed in an investment, and therefore SURA has no investment policy, report or audit. Additionally, SURA is a component agency of the City of Schenectady and is therefore part of the city’s audit, which has been adopted by the City Council and therefore reviewed by the SURA Board. No management letter or report on internal controls came directly to SURA.  Adjourn. There being no other business to come before the Board, a motion to adjourn made by Mr. Kosiur was seconded by Ms. Perazzo and passed unanimously.
