CALL TO ORDER AND DETERMINATION OF QUORUM Lacock called the meeting to order and established quorum. Lacock, Philips, Sims, Pickard, Meyer, Palfy, Hutchinson, Hartmann, and Holmquest in attendance. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Board Member Chrissy Meyer made the motion to adopt the agenda. Board Member Sims seconded the motion. Voice vote to adopt: 8 Yes: Hartmann, Holmquest, Hutchinson, Meyer, Palfy, Pickard, Sims, Philips 0 No: (None). Motion Passed. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Board Member Bradley Hartmann made the motion to approve the minutes. Board Member Hutchinson seconded the motion. Board discussion Lacock provided an overview of the mission and duties of the Active Transportation Board. Discussion took place on the following items: letters of advocacy and what do they look like, having a standing agenda item regarding upcoming road projects, potential educational materials, reaching out to new City Council members through meeting invite or providing informational topic, becoming more proactive versus reactive, having a regular agenda through the calendar year. The ATB directed Bicycle Committee and Pedestrian Committee to choose top 5 goals for the year and ATB will choose which to focus on for the year. ATB asked for more education regarding sidewalk maintenance and enforcement for the May meeting. Lacock stated that Parks Department will be reaching out with an educational campaign to kickoff in May regarding trail safety including information on e-bikes. ATB asked that staff identify groups to provide presentations to the ATB, Meyer stated that April 3rd is National Walking Day which will include a noon walk from City Center.
