Committee Updates - Bicycle, Pedestrian, PATH Lacock and Jeff Schmitt provided the top five lists from the Bicycle Committee and Pedestrian Committee. b. Discussion of Top 5 Goals - Bicycle Plan and Pedestrian Plan There was a discussion of the combined top goals of the Bicycle Committee and Pedestrian Committee. The following goals were identified for further action: 1. Tracking Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) installation; 2. Education thru DMV and learning about bicycle racks on buses; 3. Letters of advocacy; 4. Safe routes to school; 5. Promote bicycling to downtown events such as the Levitt; 6. Updating design standards for crosswalks; and, 7. Pilot programs. c. Upcoming Construction Projects Philips presented on upcoming projects. Discussion followed. It was agreed that a spreadsheet with active and upcoming projects would be helpful.
