MINUTES Thursday, June 22, 2017 3:00 PM Districting Commission Meeting Carnegie Town Hall 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Jeffrey Eckhoff, Debra Elofson, James Fry, Mark Millage (by telephone), Jason Wierenga Members Absent: None 1. Call To Order Commission Chair James Fry called the meeting to order at 3 p.m. 2. Approval of Minutes A. Meeting of Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 12 p.m. B. Public Hearing of Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. C. Public Hearing of Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 10 a.m. A motion was made by Jason Wierenga and seconded by Jeffrey Eckhoff to approve the minutes of Tuesday, May 2, 2017; Thursday, June 15, 2017; and, Saturday, June 17, 2017. Commission Chair James Fry called for a voice vote. All members voted yes. Motion Passed. 3. Draft Districting Commission Report to the City Council The Commission reviewed the draft report and presentation. The report will be edited and formatted prior to submission to the City Council at the meeting of Tuesday, July 18, 2017. A motion was made by Mark Millage and seconded by Debra Elofson to submit the 2017 Districting Commission Report to the Sioux Falls City Council pursuant to Section 6.02 of the City Charter. Commission Chair James Fry called for a voice vote. All members voted yes. Motion Passed. 4. Open Discussion  There was none. 5. Adjournment A motion was made by Jeffrey Eckhoff and seconded by Jason Wierenga to adjourn the meeting at 3:11 p.m. Commission Chair James Fry called for a voice vote. All members voted yes.
