MINUTES Monday, May 3, 2010 Informational Meeting 4:00 p.m. at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West 10th Street Members Present: Vernon Brown, J. Pat Costello, Greg Jamison, De Knudson, Bob Litz, and Kermit Staggers. Members Absent: Kenny Anderson Jr., Gerald Beninga, and Mayor Dave Munson. Staff Present: Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations, and Tamara Jorgensen, CMC/Assistant City Clerk. 1. Call To Order 2. City Council Staff Report A. Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations Congratulations to Assistant City Clerk Tamara Jorgensen for completing the Parlimentarian Procedures course. Discussion held regarding the visual imaging system and budgetary considerations. Update given on Board of Equalization updates on the Consent Agenda. 3. Mayor Munson No report. 4. City Council Open Discussion Knudson thanked Novak Sanitary Services for the fabulous job they did at the 4th Annual Whittier Neighborhood clean up. Knudson discussed a painting project by the Planning Department.  Knudson discussed the summer bus program. Litz thanked the staff and leadership of the City Clerk’s Office for their outstanding job on the run-off election. Owen gave recognition and thanks to all of the election workers for their time and talents in making this election a success.
