MINUTES Monday, September 13, 2010 Informational Meeting 4:00 p.m. at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West 10th Street Members Present: Council Member Aguilar, Council Member Anderson Jr., Council Member Brown, Council Member Entenman, Council Member Erpenbach, Council Member Jamison, Council Member Litz, Council Member Rolfing, and Mayor Mike Huether. Members Absent: None. Staff Present: Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations, and Jamie L. Palmer, CMC, Assistant City Clerk 1. Call To Order Council Chair Jamison called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. 2. City Council Staff Report Owen reviewed budget amendment procedures for Council meeting tonight. Questions followed. A. Debra A. Owen, City Clerk /Chief of Council Operations 3. Mayor Huether 4. Audit Committee Jamison stated that the committee is scheduled to meet on September 21, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. 5. Fiscal Committee Brown reported that the committee met September 7, 2010 and discussed the budget transfers ordinance, TIF district for CNA Surety and restructuring/reorganizing the audit committee. 6. Land Use Committee No report. 7. Public Services Committee No report. 8. City Council Open Discussion Litz spoke about wearing pink attire today to promote the Race Against Breat Cancer which will be held on September 26, 2010, in Vermillion, SD. Erpenbach spoke about a recent gift given in memory of Roy Nyberg to the Park and Recreation Department. Litz spoke about his recent visit to Arrowhead Park and encouraged people to visit the park. Erpenbach stated that the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum groundbreaking will be held on Tuesday,  September 14, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. Entenman spoke about the Marathon and Half Marathon that were held this past weekend. Litz spoke about the German Fest held this past weekend. 9. Presentations There were none. 10.
