MINUTES Monday, January 31, 2011 Informational Meeting 4:15 PM at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Sue Aguilar, Kenny Anderson Jr., Vernon Brown, Michelle Erpenbach, Greg Jamison, Rex Rolfing Members Absent: James Entenman, Bob Litz Staff Present: Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations; and Denise D. Tucker, CMC, Assistant City Clerk 1. Call To Order Council Chair Greg Jamison called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m. 2. City Council Staff Report A. Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations Owen encouraged everyone to take a look at the briefing from the South Dakota Municipal League. She said there are a number of bills that will be up in the House, regarding local government, pertaining to publishing and election laws. Owen will provide an update to the Council. 3. City Council Open Discussion Jamison provided an Audit Committee Meeting report. He said Rich Oksol, Lead Internal Auditor, will provide some audit information at an upcoming Informational Meeting. Jamison said they received three audit reports (CIP audit, Citywide Disbursement audit and a Stimulus Funds audit) at their last meeting. He said the Citywide Disbursement and Stimulus Funds audits went fine. The only real issue they may be dealing with is the CIP audit. Oksol will give a full report at a future Informational Meeting. 4. Presentations A. Forward Sioux Falls VI by Dana Dykhouse, Campaign Co-Chair B. Comprehensive Waste Water Regionalization Study by Mark Cotter, Director of  Public Works; Tom Gould, HDR Engineering consultant; and John Maxwell, HDR Engineering consultant 5.
