MINUTES Monday, February 14, 2011 Informational Meeting 4:00 PM at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Sue Aguilar, Kenny Anderson Jr., Vernon Brown, Michelle Erpenbach, Greg Jamison, Bob Litz, Rex Rolfing Members Absent: James Entenman Staff Present: Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations and Jamie L. Palmer, CMC, Assistant City Clerk 1. Call To Order Council Chair Jamison called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. 2. City Council Staff Report A. Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations Owen gave a few updates for items on this evening's agenda. She reported that she is researching the cost involved for televising and web streaming council committee meetings. She said that the council budget currently covers the web streaming costs so the only additional cost would be for the camera operator during the committee meeting. She stated that on March 29, 2011, the League of Women's Voters will conduct a forum for the Northwest District council seat. 3. City Council Open Discussion Erpenbach spoke about the recent NLC Training on Economic Development that she attended last week with Aguilar and Anderson Jr. and said that she would like to give a more detailed report during an Informational meeting. Jamison encouraged her to schedule that with the City Clerk's Office. Jamison spoke about an email from the City Clerk's Office regarding Inside Town Hall tapings and reminded Councilor's about the additional planning and preparation involved. He encouraged Councilors to contact Denise Tucker when they are scheduled to appear. 4. Presentations A. Events Center Update by Mayor Mike Huether  B.
