MINUTES Informational Meeting Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 4:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104 1. Call To Order Council Members Present: Miranda Basye, Sarah Cole, Jennifer Sigette, Curt Soehl, Ryan Spellerberg Council Members Absent: Rich Merkouris, Richard L. Thomason, David Barranco The meeting was called to order at 4 p.m. by Council Chair Curt Soehl. 2. Committee/Commission Reports Council Member Jennifer Sigette gave the report from the November 5, 2024 SECOG meeting. The report for Item B was given at this time. See item for details. A. Siouxland Heritage Museum Board: Thursday, November 7, 2024 (Council Member Soehl) Council Chair Soehl gave the report from the November 7, 2024 Siouxland Heritage Museum Board meeting. B. Urbanized Development Commission (UDC): Thursday, November 7, 2024 (Council Members: Barranco, Basye, Cole, Thomason) Council Member Miranda Basye gave the report from the November 7, 2024 Urbanized Development Commission (UDC) meeting. 3. Councilor Remarks 4. Presentations A. Community Housing Education by Kenley Lamberty, Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire Presentation: Approximately 15 minutes followed by discussion Kenley Lamberty, Government Affairs Director, Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire, gave a brief background on the community housing education program. He  then introduced Michelle Erpenbach, President of Sioux Falls Thrive, who gave a presention on Community Housing Education (presentation attached to the agenda). After the presentation, questions that were asked by the Council were answered by Lamberty and Erpenbach. B. Aquatics and Recreation Bond by Shawn Pritchett, Finance Director Presentation: Approximately 15 minutes followed by discussion Shawn Pritchett, Finance Director, gave a presentation on the Aquatics and Recreatioin Bond and timeline (presentation attached to the agenda). After the presentation, questions that were asked by the Council were answered by Pritchett and Mike Patten, Parks Planning & Projects Manager, Parks and Recreation Department. 5.
