MINUTES Informational Meeting Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 4:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104 1. Call To Order Council Members Present: David Barranco, Miranda Basye, Sarah Cole (arr. 4:04 p.m.), Rich Merkouris, Jennifer Sigette, Curt Soehl, Ryan Spellerberg, Richard L. Thomason Council Members Absent: None Council Chair Curt Soehl called the meeting to order at 4 p.m. 2. Councilor Remarks Council Vice Chair Rich Merkouris spoke about Coffee with a Councilor. He suggested that the meetings continue, but to meet with different Neighborhood Associations. Council Member Richard L. Thomason announced that he got engaged last week. Council Member Miranda Bayse offered congratulations to Thomason. Soehl noted that it was April 15th and encouraged people to pay their taxes. 3. Presentations A. 2024 Financial Results by Shawn Pritchett, Director of Finance Presentation: Approximately 30 minutes followed by discussion Shawn Pritchett, Director of Finance, provided the 2024 Financial Results (presentation attached to the agenda). Discussion followed and questions asked by the Council were asnwered by Pritchett. B. March 2025 Financial Presentation by Shawn Pritchett, Director of Finance Presentation: Approximately 30 minutes followed by discussion Next, Pritchett provided a presentation of the March 2025 Financials (presentation attached to the agenda).  Discussion followed and questions asked by the Council, were answered by Pritchett. 4. Public Comment Mark Weber spoke about information he obtained from the State Department of Revenue's online 1,000 page report of Sales Tax Revenue. 5.
