MINUTES Informational Meeting Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 4:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104 1. Call To Order Council Members Present: David Barranco, Miranda Basye, Sarah Cole, Jennifer Sigette, Curt Soehl, Ryan Spellerberg, Richard L. Thomason Council Members Absent: Rich Merkouris Council Chair Curt Soehl called the meeting to order at 4 p.m. 2. Councilor Remarks There were none. 3. Presentations A. 2025 Sculpture Walk Presentation by Maren Engel, City Arts Coordinator; and Jana Anderson, Lead Curator for the Visual Arts Center, Washington Pavilion Presentation: Approximately 15 minutes followed by discussion Maren Engel, City Arts Coordinator, spoke briefly about the 2025 Sculpture Walk and then introduced Jana Anderson, Lead Curator for the Visual Arts Center in the Washington Pavilion. Anderson gave a PowerPoint presentation of the 80 sculptures for the upcoming Sculpture Walk (presentation attached to the agenda). Discussion was held and questions from the Council were answered by Anderson. 4. Public Comment There was none. 5. Adjournment Council Chair Curt Soehl adjourned the meeting at 4:18 p.m. Denise D.
