ROLL CALL The clerk called the roll and stated that four members were present. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no persons present wishing to provide public comment. Cynthia Foley, Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report and explained the motions approve amendments to Puget Sound Taxpayer Accountability Account (PSTAA) Interlocal Agreements. She said each motion approves a spending plan for the 2023-2024 program year, and the total costs is $1,716,140.37. 1. Motion 23-518, approving Amendment #4 to the Puget Sound 2023-1400 Taxpayer Accountability Act (PSTAA) Interlocal Agreement with Edmonds School District ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislation Session December 13th for consideration. 2. Motion 23-519, approving Amendment #3 to the Puget Sound 2023-1401 Taxpayer Accountability Act (PSTAA) Interlocal Agreement with Everett Community College ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislation Session December 13th for consideration. 3. Motion 23-520, approving Amendment #3 to the Puget Sound 2023-1404 Taxpayer Accountability Act (PSTAA) Interlocal Agreement with Everett Public Schools ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislation Session December 13th for consideration. 4. Motion 23-523, approving Amendment #4 to the Puget Sound 2023-1409 Taxpayer Accountability Act (PSTAA) Interlocal Agreement with Washington State University Everett ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislation Session December 13th for consideration. 7. Motion 23-538, approving Amendment #1 with the Office of Head 2023-1425 Start, Administration For Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Services Cynthia Foley, Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report and explained the motion approves Amendment #1 to a grant award and the Office of Head Start will release $183,090.82 in unspent funds from the fiscal year 2022. Health Department Update - Budget Note #5 2023-1462 Dennis Worsham, Health Department Director Dennis Worsham, Health Department Director, introduced Pam Aguilar, Health Department Deputy Director, and Theresa Bengtson, Health Department Finance Manager and provided a detailed PowerPoint presentation related to the integration process of the Health Department . Committee Member Dunn commented on the use of the building and discussion ensued on the safety and damage of the building. Committee Member Nehring thanked the Health Department for reducing the timelines on the Food Permits. Meeting adjourned at 11:28 a.m. Page 4 of 4
