Clerk of the Council CALL TO ORDER Committee Chair Nehring called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. and provided instructions for those wishing to provide public comment for both in-person and remote via Zoom . ROLL CALL The clerk called the roll and stated that four members were present. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no persons present wishing to provide public comment. Housing Panel Discussion 2023-0074 John Bissell, David Evans and Associates Glenda Krull, Snohomish County-Camano Association of Realtors Mike Pattison, Master Builders Association of King & Snohomish County Discussion ensued regarding the cost of housing and the impacts it has on Snohomish County residents; key factors that make it difficult to afford a home; policy approaches; actions taken by Snohomish County to help make home ownership more attainable; and suggestions for Snohomish County to help aid with the housing issues.
