PUBLIC COMMENT Kyle Creeko, resident of Lynnwood, spoke about conservation of mature forests. Page 1 of 3 Public Infrastructure and Meeting Minutes June 18, 2024 Conservation Committee ACTION ITEMS Deb Bell, Sr. Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report for the following items. 1. Ordinance 24-046, granting a non-exclusive franchise authorizing 2024-1121 limited use of the public road rights-of-way in portions of Snohomish County, Washington to the City of Arlington ACTION: Move to Administrative Matters, General Legislative Session June 26th to set time and date for public hearing. 2. Motion 24-239, authorizing the County Council to sign an Interlocal 2024-1120 Agreement between Snohomish County and the City of Everett concerning the US 2 / I-5 Interchange Justification Planning Study ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislative Session June 26th for consideration. 3. Motion 24-245, approving an Interlocal Agreement between 2024-1155 Snohomish County and the Alderwood Water & Wastewater District concerning agreement for overlay improvements ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislative Session June 26th for consideration. 4. Motion 24-242, authorizing the County Executive to sign 2024-1145 Professional Services Agreement CCF01-24 with Perteet, Inc. to provide Design Services for I-5/164th St SW Direct Access Improvements ACTION: Move to Consent Agenda, General Legislative Session June 26th for consideration. 5. Motion 24-244, approving an increase in the number of employees 2024-1154 authorized in the 2024 Annual Budget in the General Fund-002 for the Finance and Human Resources Departments Committee Member Dunn asked a question regarding budget appropriations. Parks - Lord Hill Park - DCNR 2024-1258 Sharon Swan, Parks Division Director Rob Marchand, Sr. Park Planner Chelsea Kapica, Flowing Lake Ranger Station Tom Teigen, Sharon Swan, Rob Marchand, and Joe Wheeler, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, provided a PowerPoint presentation and responded to questions throughout.
