Village of South Amherst Board of Cemetery Trustees Wednesday, December 20th 2023 Meeting called to order at 6:01 p.m. by R. Leshinski Roll Call: Rosemary Leshinski, Marilyn Makruski, Lawerence Verga Current Agenda: Motion to approve by Marilyn Makruski and seconded by Lawerence Verga, with all in favor. Approval of Minutes from 11/08/2023. Motion to approve minutes from Nov. tabled until January Meeting. Visitors: Liaison, Scott Jones, Mayor, David Leshinski Financial Reporting- Board received financial statements. R. Leshinski motioned to accept and seconded by M. Makruski with all in favor. Old Business: Update on baby Ritz: There have been no new updates. Clerk will reach out to family for update on meeting. Military Monument footer pricing: Has been investigated and corrections made. Section H audit: Ground audit has been done. Record updates scheduled for the first of the new year. Memory cards have been purchased for cameras. New Business: Position for Sexton/Cemetery Maintenance Worker was e-mailed to board members, clerk, liaison, and mayor for review. Marilyn Makruski made a motion to hire David Leshinski as Sexton/Cemetery Maintenance Worker, seconded by Lawerence Verga and recused by R. Leshinski. Position to begin January 1st 2024 at $15.00/hr. The board and staff welcomed Lawerence Verga as board member. Adjournment: 6:58 p.m.
