Village of South Blooming Grove Regular meeting Tuesday October 15, 2019 7:00 P.M. ➢ Call to order o Mayor LoFranco called to order the Village Board Meeting at 7:08 p.m. on October 15, 2019, at the South Blooming Grove Village Hall located at 811 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York. ➢ Roll call The following persons were present: o James LoFranco- Mayor o James Mullany - Trustee o Sue Anne Vogelsberg – Trustee o Joseph McKay, Esq. o Marvin Nyman – Village Accountant Absent: o John L. Ross – Deputy Mayor o Johnny Belfort – Trustee ➢ Correspondence: o None. ➢ Comments o The Mayor provided a brief update on matters in litigation. The Mayor stated that it was necessary to have TAM jet the sewer main in the Merriewold area this past weekend. The sewer department continues to have issue with clogging due to residents flushing items such as wipes, diapers, cloths etc. These materials build up in the sewer main causing such a large blockage it is necessary to Jet the sewer main. The Mayor announced that Colin Schmidt has initiated the creation of a Water Task Force to help municipalities with water issues. ➢ Public Comments o Donna Douglas, Lakeshore Drive Monroe New York asked about procedure/enforcement when garbage cans are left out at the end of the driveway. The Mayor advised we are researching and discussing our enforcement options. ➢ Business o Resolution No. (97) – Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove authorizing the Mayor to execute a lead agency consent form. Motion to accept by Trustee Mullany, seconded by Trustee Vogelsberg. Resolution passed. 3 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Trustee Vogelsberg and Trustee Mullany, 2 Absent, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Belfort. 1  Village of South Blooming Grove Regular meeting Tuesday October 15, 2019 7:00 P.M. o Resolution No. (98) – Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove setting the effective dates and times of the juvenile curfew for the 2019 Halloween season pursuant to Chapter 104 of the Village Code. Motion to accept by Trustee Mullany, seconded by Trustee Vogelsberg. Resolution passed. 3 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Trustee Vogelsberg and Trustee Mullany, 2 Absent, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Belfort. ➢ Trustee Comments o Trustee Vogelsberg announced: electronic recycling would be Saturday October 19, 2019 from 8am to 12pm.; Moffit Library Bag of Books Sale Sunday October 20, 2019 and Moffit Library trip Street of Shops will be on November 16, 2019. ➢ Abstract o Motion to adopt the Abstract by Trustee Vogelsberg, seconded by Trustee Mullany, 3 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Trustee Vogelsberg and Trustee Mullany, 2 Absent, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Belfort. ➢ Adjournment o Motion to close the meeting at 7:20 p.m. by Trustee Vogelsberg, seconded by Trustee Mullany. 3 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Trustee Vogelsberg and Trustee Mullany, 2 Absent, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Belfort.
