Village of South Blooming Grove REGULAR MEETING Monday June 22, 2020 7:00 P.M. ➢ Call to order o Mayor LoFranco called to order the Village Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on June 22, 2020, at the South Blooming Grove Village Hall located at 811 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York. ➢ Roll call The following persons were present: o James LoFranco- Mayor o John L. Ross – Deputy Mayor o Sue Anne Vogelsberg – Trustee o Johnny Belfort – Trustee o Patricia Morrice - Trustee o Joseph McKay – Village Attorney ➢ Correspondence: • None ➢ Public Comments • None ➢ Mayor and Trustee Comments o Mayor LoFranco New York State phase III begins tomorrow. Our water resources are at an all time low. Our water tanks are dangerously low. Water restrictions are in affect. Do not fill pools, power wash house, driveway and/or cars. The water department is working to gain more water for the district. Water project is on the way and contractors are on site. Property maintenance is being taken care of and there are only a few issues. There are some violations that cannot be addressed by the board and must go to court. The courts are scheduled to open in August. Village Elections are scheduled for September 15, 2020. I will be going out with Engineers regarding the Community Development Block Grant. We are hoping to address drainage on Prospect Road. If you see something, say something. ➢ Abstract o Motion to adopt the Abstract by Trustee Vogelsberg, seconded by Deputy Mayor Ross, 5 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Vogelsberg, Trustee Morrice and Trustee Belfort. 1  Village of South Blooming Grove REGULAR MEETING Monday June 22, 2020 7:00 P.M. ➢ Business o Resolution No. (22) - Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove exempting the Village of South Blooming Grove from applicable application fees associated with improvements to water district/wellfield improvements. Motion to accept by Trustee Deputy Mayor Ross, seconded by Trustee Vogelsberg. Resolution passed. 5 ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Vogelsberg, Trustee Morrice and Trustee Belfort. ➢ Adjournment o Motion to enter attorney/client session at 7:20 p.m. by Trustee Vogelsberg, seconded by Deputy John Ross. 5 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Vogelsberg, Trustee Morrice and Trustee Belfort. o Motion to exit attorney/client session at 8:15 p.m. by Deputy Mayor Ross, seconded by Trustee Vogelsberg. 5 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Vogelsberg, Trustee Morrice and Trustee Belfort. o Motion to close the meeting at 8:15 p.m. by Deputy Mayor Ross, seconded by Trustee Vogelsberg. 5 Ayes, Mayor LoFranco, Deputy Mayor Ross, Trustee Vogelsberg, Trustee Morrice and Trustee Belfort.
