Village of South Blooming Grove Board of trustees Regular Meeting Monday February 10, 2025 8:00pm  Call to order Mayor Kalaj called to order the Village Board Meeting at 8:02pm on February 10, 2025, for the Village of South Blooming Grove located at 811 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York.  Roll call The following persons were present: o George Kalaj – Mayor o Abraham Weiss – Deputy o Yitzchok Feldman – Trustee o Zalmon Rosner – Trustee o Scott Ugell Esq. – Village Attorney o Al Fusco Village Engineer o Kerry Dougherty – Village Clerk o Absent - Asher Guttman – Trustee o Absent - Isaac Ekstein – Legislative Aide to Mayor o Absent - Joel Stern – Confidential Assistant to the Mayor  Mayor’s Comments o The Mayor said there was another sewer backup last week and it was a disaster. o The Mayor also said snow is coming this week so put the garbage cans away and no parking in the streets.  Adoption of Minutes – Motion to adopt the January 27, 2025, Village Board Minutes by Trustee Rosner, seconded by Trustee Feldman. 4 Ayes, 1 Absent.  Business o Resolution No. (011) Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with Solitude Lake Management to provide aquatic pesticide services to Merriewold Lake. Motion to accept by Trustee Rosner, seconded by Mayor Kalaj. 4 Ayes – Mayor Kalaj, Deputy Mayor Weiss, Trustee Feldman, and Trustee Rosner. 1 Absent Trustee Guttman. o Resolution No. (012) Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove Re- scheduling a public hearing to now be held on March 10, 2025 regarding the acquisition of a portion of the real property located at 8 Mangin Road pursuant to the NY Eminent Domain Procedure Law.
