Village of South Blooming Grove Board of trustees Regular Meeting Monday FEBRuary 24, 2025 8:00pm  Call to order Mayor Kalaj called to order the Village Board Meeting at 8:03pm on February 24, 2025, for the Village of South Blooming Grove located at 811 State Route 208, within the Village of South Blooming Grove, and having a mailing address of Monroe, New York.  Roll call The following persons were present: o George Kalaj – Mayor o Abraham Weiss – Deputy Mayor o Asher Guttman – Trustee o Zalmon Rosner – Trustee o Scott Ugell Esq. – Village Attorney o Al Fusco Village Engineer o Brian Smith o Isaac Ekstein – Legislative Aide to Mayor o Joel Stern* (late) – Confidential Assistant to Mayor o Kerry Dougherty – Village Clerk o Absent – Yitzchok Feldman – Trustee  Mayor’s Comments o The Mayor said they are expecting a lot of rain and snow, please don’t park on the street and put your garbage somewhere safe. Don’t throw any debris that doesn’t belong in the sewer.  Business o Resolution No. (013) Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and enter into a contract with 2 Stonegate Drive for additional parking. Motion to accept by Trustee Rosner, seconded by Mayor Kalaj. 4 Ayes – Mayor Kalaj, Deputy Mayor Weiss, Trustee Guttman, and Trustee Rosner. 1 Absent Trustee Feldman. o Resolution No. (014) Resolution of the Village Board of the Village of South Blooming Grove authorizing the Mayor to negotiate a Memorandum of Agreement with Woodbury Commons and execute the same on behalf of the Village of South Blooming Grove and authorizing the Village Engineer to perform studies necessary.
