Spearfish City Council Special Session Minutes April 24, 2018 The Spearfish City Council met at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in a Joint Session with Lawrence County Commissioners. Mayor Boke presided and called the meeting to order. Roll Call was taken with the following City Council members present: Clark, Hodgs, Klarenbeek, Lee and Schmit. Absent: Jacobs. City staff also present: City Administrator Harmon, City Planner Watson, Assistant Finance Officer DeNeui, Police Chief Rotert, Assistant Police Chief Jacobs, Police Lieutenant Dean, Flood Plain Administrator Vig, and Assistant City Planner Mayo. Lawrence County Commissioners present were Deibert, Flanagan, Johnson, Sleep, and Rosenau. Lawrence County staff present were Planning & Zoning Director Vogt, County Attorney Outka, and Auditor McGruder. Preliminary FEMA Flood Map Presentation – Dustin Dale, PE with Advanced Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc (AE2S) presented the preliminary FEMA Flood Map and three possible mitigation plans. No official action was taken. There being no further business before the Council Klarenbeek moved, Hodgs seconded and all voted to adjourn at 4:23 PM. Dated this 24th day of April 2018.
