Spearfish City Council Special Session Minutes May 6, 2022, 1:30 p.m. The Spearfish City Council met at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022. Mayor Senden presided and called the meeting to order. Roll call was taken with the following members present: Clark, Hourigan, Jacobs, Klarenbeek, and Rath. Absent: Hodgs. Also present: City Administrator McFarland, City Attorney McDonald, City Engineer Mathis, Assistant City Engineer Spindler, Assistant Finance Officer Griebler, Parks and Recreation Director Ehnes, and Assistant Public Works Director McMahon. All stood and recited the pledge of allegiance. Clark moved, Klarenbeek seconded, and all voted to approve the agenda. No potential conflicts of interest were noted. Bid Award – Clark moved, Klarenbeek seconded and with Clark, Hourigan, Jacobs, Klarenbeek, and Rath voting aye, motion passed to award the lowest responsive and responsible bid for the Sky Ridge Sports Complex Irrigation Well to Water Systems Drilling Inc. at a total amount of $594,720. There being no further business before the Council, Clark moved, Klarenbeek seconded, and all voted to adjourn at 1:35 p.m. Dated this 6th day of May 2022.
