Spearfish Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes Tuesday, April 3, 2018 The Spearfish Planning Commission met in regular session on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the council chambers at Spearfish City Hall. Members present: Toby Bordewyk, Dan Green, Jim Hopewell, Greg Kruskamp, Bob Meyer, Drew Skjoldal, Larry Vavruska and Barbara Zwetzig. Absent: None. Also present: City Planner Jayna Watson, Assistant City Planner Desirae Mayo, and City Attorney Eric Davis. Chairman Zwetzig called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Vavruska moved to approve the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of Tuesday, March 20, 2018 as presented. The motion was seconded by Kruskamp and passed unanimously. DECLARATION OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST: Zwetzig asked for any potential conflicts of interest to be identified. None were declared. 1. DRD Final Plan Review and Shared Parking Plan for the Creekside Bistro Applicant: Stanley Design Group LLC for Pangburn Enterprises Location: Lot 1, part of Lot 1R of Block 3 of Della Vecchia Addition The Villages at Creekside City Planner Jayna Watson presented an overview of key elements pertaining to the DRD Final Plan submittal for construction of one building on the parcel legally described as Lot 1, part of Lot 1R of Block 3 of Della Vecchia Addition, which will house the proposed Creekside Bistro. The owners of Lots 1 and 2 will enter into a shared parking agreement which will allow eighteen (18) of the fifty-six (56) parking stalls planned for construction on Lot 2 to count toward the forty-two (42) parking stalls required on Lot 1. Motion was made by Vavruska and seconded by Meyer to recommend approval of the DRD Final Plan submittal for the Creekside Bistro by Stanley Design Group, LLC for Pangburn Enterprises and the Shared Parking Plan as presented for Lots 1 and 2 at The Villages at Creekside. Upon vote taken thereon, the motion passed unanimously. CITY COUNCIL UPDATE: Watson commented briefly on matters before the council at the meeting last evening. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the commission, Zwetzig adjourned the meeting at 3:32 p.m.
