City of Spearfish Public Works Committee Minutes March 10, 2020 The Public Works Committee met at 4:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 with the following members present: Clark and Hodgs. Absent: Herrmann. Also present were: City Administrator Harmon, City Planner Watson, Park and Recreation Director Ehnes, City Attorney McDonald, Human Resource Director Mathis, City Finance Officer DeNeui, Public Works Director Lee, Police Chief Jacobs, City Engineer Mathis, and Assistant City Planner VanHolland. FYI – Annual department reports will be presented on March 16, 2020 by the departments of Public Safety, Finance, Planning & Zoning, and Human Resources. Engineering Bid Opening – Committee recommended to full council to set bid opening for the Jackson Boulevard Street and Utility Improvements Project – Phase 2 for April 7, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. Parks and Recreation Award bid – Committee recommended to full council to award bid for the 2020 Weed Control Applications Project to Tru Green Lawn Care for the amount of $36,975. Public Comment – Public comment section was opened at 4:20 p.m. and closed with no comments received. There being no further discussion before the committee, the meeting was adjourned at 4:21 p.m.
