The St. Charles Board of Adjustment will meet on Monday, September 14, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. on
the fourth floor of City Hall in the City Council Chambers to consider the following matters:
Call to Order and Call the Roll
1. Case No. BOA-2015-11. Address: 1223 North 5th Street (Emily & Joe Jackson). Request to
decrease the required front yard setback for an above-ground pool from 25 feet to 17 feet
adjacent to Randolph Street as required in §400.620(C)(1) of the City of St. Charles Code of
Ordinances. The zoning for the subject property is R-1E Single-Family Residential District.

2. Case No. BOA-2015-12. Address: 3910 Elm Point Road Lot 1 (Meyer Investment – Gregory
Meyer). Request to construct a pole barn at an elevation of 432.82 feet, 11.18 feet below
the required elevation/flood-proofing requirement for structures within the floodplain. The
City of St. Charles flood proofing requirement at this location is 444 feet as required in
§410.130(A)(2) of the City’s Zoning Ordinance. The property is zoned I-2 Heavy Industrial
District. (Ward 8)
