BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AGENDA September 10, 2018 BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT: Edmund Johnson, Chair Don Garrison, Jr., Vice-Chair Nancy Corbin, Secretary Marita Malone Maureen Rogers-Bouxsein Brian Andrzejewski, Alternate Richard Alferman, Alternate In accordance with Chapter 400 (Zoning Code) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of St. Charles, Missouri, notice is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth floor of City Hall in the City Council Chambers, 200 North Second Street in St. Charles, Missouri for the purpose of giving interested parties and citizens an opportunity to be heard on the following matters: Call to Order and Call the Roll 1. Case No. BOA-2018-24. Address: 2305 Droste Road. (My Secret Garden LLC) Request to decrease the front yard setback along Droste Road from twenty-five (25) feet to nine (9) feet to allow for parking as regulated in §400.220(D)(8)(a) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances. The property is zoned C-2 General Business District (Ward 9). 2. Case No. BOA-2018-25. Address: 40 Eagle Spur Court. (Neil Wobbe) Request to decrease the required rear yard setback for an unenclosed deck from nineteen (19) feet to fifteen (15) feet as regulated in §400.620(A)(4) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances. The property is zoned R-1E Single Family Residential District (Ward 4). 3. Case No. BOA-2018-26. Address: 18 Trailridge Court. (Chesterfield Fence and Deck) Request to decrease the required rear yard setback for an unenclosed deck from nineteen (19) feet to fifteen (15) feet as regulated in §400.620(A)(4) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances. The property is zoned R-1E Single Family Residential District (Ward 1). Board of Adjustment Agenda 1 4. Case No. BOA-2018-27. Address: 18 Hidden Hills Drive. (Jim Wehmeier) Request to decrease the required rear yard setback for an attached porch cover from twenty five (25) feet to seventeen (17) feet as regulated in §400.150(E)(5)(c) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances. The property is zoned R-1D Single Family Residential District (Ward 3). 5. Case No. BOA-2018-28. Address: 3106 Railcar Bend. (Patriot Sunrooms – Joe Scognamiglio) Request to decrease the required rear yard setback for an attached patio cover from twenty (20) feet to sixteen (16) feet as originally approved via Ordinance #04-161 and as recorded in Plat Book 43 Pages 6 through 9, and as subsequently amended in Plat Book 47 Page 37 at the St. Charles County Recorder of Deeds. The property is zoned PD-R Planned Development - Residential District (Ward 8).
