The Board of Public Works will hold its regular meeting Monday, November 27, 2017 at 5:00 pm on the

B. Update on Engineering Services Contract for the Lime Sludge Lagoon

C. Authorization to enter into a Contract for Water Facility Relocation with
Missouri American Water Company in the amount of $150,000.00 for the

5. Public Works Department – Utility Division
A. Authorization to enter into a contract with Schulte Supply, Inc. for the purchase of
Neptune Automated Meter Reader (AMR) Water Meters in an amount not to exceed
$230,000.00 (Ward All)
B. Authorization to enter into Amendment No. 5 of Agreement for Operations and
Maintenance of Wastewater Facilities with Woodard and Curran, Inc. for an
adjustment to Article V, Compensation, in the amount of $22,477.29, total contract
amount for the 2017 year not to exceed $2,064,126.46 (Ward All)
C. Authorization to enter into an agreement with Boeing to create a safe zone at the
Missouri River Waste Water treatment plant (Ward 1)

D. Authorization to enter into a contract with Coe Equipment Co. for the purchase of a
Vactor Model: HXX Single Engine Hydro Excavation with Positive Displacement
Pump and 12-yard capacity mounted on a 2018 Freightliner chassis in an amount not

E. Authorization to enter into a contract with Eden Brothers, LLC for Water Leak
Detection Equipment in an amount not to exceed $72,816.00 (Ward All)
F. Recommendation to enter into a Contract with Vandevanter Engineering for
Maintenance on a Flygt Pump at the Fountain Lakes Lift Station in an amount not to
exceed $44,771.94 (Ward 8)
G. Authorization to execute Contract with Integra Inc. Construction Company for the
Building 240 Stairway replacement at the Mississippi Waste Water Treatment
Facility (WWTF) in an amount not to exceed $37,977.00 (Ward All)
H. Recommendation to enter into a renewal Contract with Polydyne, Inc. for Chemicals
for the Waste Water Treatment Facility in the amount not to exceed $60,000.00
