The applicant is requesting approval of a revision to the previously approved monument sign at the Old Stone Chapel. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. The applicant is requesting approval to replace the retaining wall, install a fence along the front of the property, and pave the front yard.
