Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. Adjournment The next regular meeting of the Landmarks Board is scheduled for Monday, May 16, 2016 The submittal deadline for the May 16th meeting is April 18, 2016 (May 2nd, 2016, for signs) NOTE: THERE WILL BE A PUBLIC MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., APRIL 18, AFTER THE REGULAR LANDMARKS BOARD MEETING TO PROVIDE THE RESULTS OF THE HISTORIC/ARCHITECTURAL SURVEY OF THE LINDENWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD.
