LANDMARKS BOARD AGENDA FOR REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 21, 2017 LANDMARKS BOARD: Steve Martin, Chairperson Tom Kuypers, Vice Chair Denise Mitchell, Secretary Michelle Beucke Cheryl Primm Robert Greve Gene Wood Sherilyn Blair Tom Besselman, Council Liaison Mesdames and Gentlemen: On Monday, August 21, 2017, at 6:00 p.m., the City of St. Charles Landmarks Board will hold its regular monthly meeting in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall, 200 North Second Street, St. Charles, Missouri. The agenda for this meeting is as follows: Attention Applicants: It is necessary that you or a knowledgeable representative of your interests be present at the meeting to answer any questions the Board may have concerning your application. Consent Agenda (A) Case No. C/A 2017-52(EC). 1034 Lindenwood Avenue. Shamrock Drywall, Inc. The applicant is requesting approval to install a canvas shed awning over the main entrance. The applicant is requesting approval to replace the existing retaining walls with Rockwood Classic 6” concrete block retaining walls and install an above-ground swimming pool. The applicant is requesting approval to replace the existing wood retaining wall with a modular block wall. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Jackson Custom Homes & Remodeling. The applicant is requesting approval to replace the front gallery with an addition and new gallery, reside the façade, and replace windows.
