The applicant is requesting approval to install, new vinyl siding, new vinyl windows, rebuild rear deck, re-clad garage, and install a four (4) foot tall wood picket fence in side and backyard. The applicant is requesting approval to install two columns on the front porch, install new siding on the front facing dormer, replace all wooden fascia boards with Hardie board and convert rear screen porch into a four-seasons room. The applicant is requesting approval for one hanging sign a guest house. [Landmarks Preservation District, Ward 2] (B) Permit No. 18-3758. 524 First Capitol Drive. Daniel Corbin. The applicant is requesting approval for refacing and existing monument sign for Phillips 66. [Extended Preservation District, Ward 1] (C) Permit No. 18-3775. 620 Jefferson Street. Joe Phillips. The applicant is requesting approval to install one freestanding sign for the business, Baue Funeral Home. [Extended Preservation District, Ward 1] 5. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. The applicant is requesting approval to alter the slope of his roof at the rear of the house. [Extended Historic Preservation District, Ward 1] The application was tabled at the July 16, 2018 meeting due to lack of representation. (B) Case No. C/A 2018-73(EC). 140 North Main Street. Genevieve Kaufman. The applicant is seeking after the fact approval to install string lights on rear patio. [Historic Downtown District, Ward 1] (C) Case No. C/A 2018.74(EC). 524 South Main Street.
