The applicant is requesting approval to install a four (4) foot tall black decorative metal fence and bollards around the parking lot. The applicant is requesting approval to reface one pole sign, one hanging sign and install one new wall sign for, Bex Construction. [Extended Preservation District, Ward 1] 5. Structure Review Section 400.1180 Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to protect, enhance, and perpetrate buildings, structures, districts, and sites of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or geographic significance. Further, protection of cultural assets from demolition by neglect is an objective of this subchapter. Please note: Obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Landmarks Board does not authorize the applicant to build a structure. Building permits are required prior to construction. (A) Case No. C/A 2018-59(EC). 217 North Sixth Street. Dana Farnsworth. The applicant is requesting approval to alter the slope of his roof at the rear of the house. [Extended Historic Preservation District, Ward 1] The application was tabled at the August 20th, 2018 meeting due to lack of representation. (B) Case No. C/A 2018-56(EC). 450 Lindenwood Avenue. Robert Bittick. The applicant is seeking approval to alter the front porch and front facade. [Extended Historic Preservation District, Ward 7] The application was tabled at the July 16th, 2018 meeting at the direction that the applicant provide more information on the proposed materials. (C) Case No. C/A 2018.16(D). 2020 North Fifth Street. Steve Bollinger. The applicant is seeking approval to demolish a single-family frame house.
