MINUTES of the JOINT MEETING of the TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE and TOWN BOARD October 24, 2023 CALL TO ORDER by Chair Ringhofer at 6:00 pm STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE read by Chair Ringhofer ROLL CALL: Chair John Ringhofer, Teri Kelly, Board Chair Theresa Johnson; Online: Anton Rang. Not present: Mary Tyson, Joel Skinner. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE recited ADOPTION OF AGENDA: MOTION to adopt the agenda (Kelly/Ringhofer). Motion carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Technology Committee Minutes of 9‐26‐2023: MOTION to approve the Minutes of the September 26, 2023 Technology Committee meeting (Ringhofer/Kelly). Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION and/or ACTIONS BY COMMITTEE 1. Ongoing Items  Sunnylink updates: Discussed the failure incident on TOSJNAS1. o Disaster Recovery/Cloud Backup: Will carry this item over to next month. o Document management: Synology: Will carry this item over to next month. o Security for Laptop in Town Hall: Discussed the current security passwords on the laptop. Chair Ringhofer will create an email for Tim Whiteside for the Clerk to send.  Town Hall update: Chair Johnson discussed the Board’s decision to move forward with a new building. Discussed the four quotes provided by Sunnylink for IT Services. Discussed the current AV equipment and moving it to the new building, if necessary. Clerk will invite Tim Whiteside to the next meeting.
