Approved 7-0 There was a motion to amend the agenda to consider the following items and all of these items were approved by a vote of 7-0: An appointment to the Fine Arts Commission – Lue Ward An appointment to the Industrial Development Authority – W. Paul Scott An appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission – Clinton Jenkins Appointments to the Planning Commission - W. Ross Boone and Sylvester Jones 2  An ordinance to amend Chapter 2, Administration, Article II, Section 2-38 of the Code of the City of Suffolk, Virginia, related to the appointment and the duties of the Deputy City Clerk. A resolution confirming the appointment of Tracey l. Sanford as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Suffolk, Virginia. 15. Late Appearance – Guidelines for the Late Appearances period are outlined in the City Code Section 2-96 and permit each speaker five (5) minutes to address City Council.
