City of Suffolk, Virginia, changing the election of City Council Members and
School Board Members from May to the general election in November
A motion to schedule a public hearing at the November 1, 2006, City Council meeting regarding
the request to the General Assembly to amend the Charter of the City of Suffolk to provide for
the direct election of the Mayor.
