An ordinance to award a lease of approximately 625 square feet,
more or less, of City property located in the City of Suffolk,
Virginia and also being a part of that property known as Tax Map
Parcel Number 44*62, ITT Corporation for a term in excess of
five years was approved by a vote of 8-0.
13. Public Hearing - A public hearing to receive public comment on the Draft
Borough Redistricting Plan
A motion to adopt the Borough Redistricting Map and Plan as
modified was approved by 7-1 (Council Member Bennett voted in
opposition.)
14. Ordinance - An ordinance to amend Section 86-291 of the Code of the City of
Suffolk restricting through truck traffic on Indian Trail, Lake Meade Drive, Lake
Kilby Road, Deer Path Road, Chappell Drive, Buckhorn Road, Kingsale Road,
Old Mill Road, Old Myrtle Road, Providence Road, Carr Lane, Lonely Lane,
White Drive, Simons Drive, Ashburn Road, Milford Lane, Little Creek Road,
Archers Mill Road, Joshua Lane, Lake Cahoon Road, General Early Drive,
Murphys Mill Road, Pitchkettle Road from Route 58 Bypass to Kings Fork Road,
and Kings Fork Road from Pruden Boulevard to Indian Trail

Bennett voted in opposition.)
