Public Hearing - An ordinance granting Conditional Use Permit Request C16-11, submitted by Frederick A. Womble, SBA Network Services, Inc. on the behalf of Jennifer Banasik, ITT, applicant, and the City of Suffolk, property owner, to permit a telecommunication tower (new construction) in accordance with Sections 31-306, 31-406, and 31-716 of the Unified Development Ordinance Approved 8-0 13. Public Hearing - An ordinance granting Conditional Use Permit Request C17-11, submitted by Jason Fulford of Tattoo Skills Too, LLC, applicant, on the behalf of David L. & Lisabeth E. Drames, property owners, to permit a tattoo parlor and body piercing salon in accordance with Section 31-721 of the Unified Development Ordinance Approved 8-0 14. Public Hearing - An ordinance granting a Conditional Use Permit Request C18-11, submitted by Robert J. Stack and Janet D. New Business A motion to appropriate any unassigned capital fund balance remaining at June 30, 2011, to the capital fund contingency account for use in addressing immediate municipal facility needs was approved by a vote of 8-0 A motion to request a report from the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority regarding its existing and future programs at a future Work Session was approved by a vote of 8-0. A motion to authorize City Manager Cuffee-Glenn to prepare a study regarding the potential use of the former Robertson Elementary School site for a recreational purpose was approved by a vote of 8-0. 22.
