Subcommittee Chair Martin-Milius called the meeting to order at 3 p.m. in the
Council Conference Room.

Distribution Subcommittee Meeting Minutes of February 25,
2015
Member Hendricks moved and Member Davis seconded the motion to approve the
Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote:

2 15-0609 Review of Applications and Make Recommendation to City
Council for FY 2015/16 Community Event Grant Funding
Subcommittee Member Hendricks moved and Subcommittee Member Davis
seconded to recommend Community Event Grants totaling $10,000 to the City
Council as follows:
Pakistani American Culture Center: $1,500 for Basant Kite Flying Festival.
Sunnyvale Downtown Association: $2,775 for Holiday Tree Lighting and $3,785 for
Jazz and Beyond Concert Series.
Sunnyvale Historical Society: $1,940 for Antique Appraisal Faire.
The motion carried by the following vote:

3 15-0610 Review of Applications and Make Recommendation to City
Council for FY 2015/16 Neighborhood Grant Funding
Subcommittee Member Hendricks moved and Subcommittee Member Davis
seconded to recommend Neighborhood Grants totaling $6,125 to the City Council
as follows:
Cherryhill Neighborhood Association: $1,000 for Water Conservation Works
project.
Cherry Chase Neighborhood Association: $1,000 for Cultural and Social
Enrichment.
Cumberland South Neighborhood Association: $750 for 4th of July Parade.
Nimitz Neighborhood Association: $900 for Big Blowout Block Party.
Ortega Park Neighborhood Association: $500 for National Night Out.
SNAIL Neighborhood Association: $1,000 for National Night Out.
SunnyArts Neighborhood Association: $575 for Community Building and
Neighborhood Pride.
Valley Forge Neighborhood Group: $400 for Block Party.
The motion carried by the following vote:

PUBLIC COMMENT
