I. CALL TO ORDER: Sanci Kennedy called to order the meeting of the Sweeny Beautification
Committee at 5:34pm on Thursday, May 1st, 2025
II. ROLL CALL: Sanci Kennedy, Ashley Rambo, Joanna Rambo, J’Cee Coufal, Ellen Farley, Starr
Fitch, Melanie Mullins, Kayla Peterson, Shelby Hinds and Erica Landriault were present.
III. MINUTE APPROVAL/DISAPPROVAL: Motion made by Melanie and seconded by Kayla to
approve the previous minutes from April 10, 2025 and April 17, 2025. All in favor. Motion
carried.
IV. TREASURER’S REPORT: Current Balance = N/A
V. BUSINESS:
SWEENY PRIDE DAY 2025:
• Friday May 2, 2025 – Saturday May 3, 2025
• Backyard Park
• RECYCLED ART CONTEST
o 1st place – Windchimes
o 2nd place – Bulldog
o 3rd place – Ballpark
LIBRARY ART MURAL:
• Sanci is awaiting design from artist
