COUNCIL OF THE WHOLE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2015 – 7:00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ************** Committee of the Whole James M. Donovan – Pres. of Council CALL TO ORDER: Pres. of Council Donovan called the Council Committee meeting of 1-20-15 to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: Ms. Tricaso, Mrs. Ray, Mrs. Kilway, Mr. Sisak, Mr. Stalnaker and Mr. Donovan – present. Also present were Dir. of Pub. Service Esler, Dir. of Law Raber and Economic Developer Loughry. Mayor Kline was at a JEDD meeting and Dir. of Finance Shanafelt was out ill and Mr. Rensel was excused. COMMUNITY INPUT: Pres. of Council: Tallmadge City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday’s of the month for their Regular Council meetings. The preceding Monday’s are the Council Committee meetings. Council is divided into six different committees with one of the Council members acting as Chair of that committee. Legislation is discussed thoroughly at the Committee meeting and the committee gives a recommendation to the Council of the Whole whether to adopt, amend, reject, hold or table the legislation. We do allow time for community input at this point in the meeting. If there is anybody who would like to address Council, feel free to come forward. We have no takers. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None.
