Registrar of Voters Board Meeting Minutes Date and Time: Tuesday, June 16, 2020 Place: Temporary City Hall 141 Oak Street, Maxham School Registrar of Voters Office, Room #4 Taunton, MA 02780 Attendees:  Roger Hoffmann  Dan Barbour – First meeting since appointed  Elizabeth Pottier  Carol Welch Meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm Meeting minutes for February 18, 2020, motion to accept the minutes carried 4-0. Vouchers reviewed and motion to approve all vouchers passed 4-0. NEW BUSINESS Note: First meeting since COVID-19 pandemic o Newly appointed ROV Board member introduced o Motion to accept the nomination papers – motion approved 4-0. o Motion to accept the political calendar – motion approved 4-0. Board discussed opportunities for citizens to register to vote; new legislation allows anyone receiving benefits to be auto-enrolled to vote; citizens can enroll on-line, and can walk into the ROV office to register. OLD BUSINESS o No old business The meeting adjourned at 5:20 pm Next meeting scheduled for July 21, 2020 at 5pm.
