TAIJNTON REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES February 22, 2023 at 4 pm The National, 9 Taunton Green, Taunton Members Present: Ed Correira (EC), Jeffrey Pagliuca (iF), Larry Silvia (LS), Manuel Spencer (MS), I ~I ~., — Members Absent: ‘Z ‘ Christopher Coute Others Present: ___ 4 Dennis Ackerman, Consultant; Jim Howland, OECD Meeting called to order at 4:02. Item 1: • Review and approval of meeting minutes from Jan. 25, 2023. Motion by IF to approve, Second by LS, vote taken; All in favor. Item 2: • No further update on Urban Renewal plan until mid-late March. Draft plan to be presented at the end of March for TRA comment. Item 3: • Northeastern students have presented theft final presentation. TRA members will meet with Reed & Barton owners to discuss items to be moved forward. Item 4: • TRA was very happy with the work conducted by Northeastern students, would like to partner with them again on another project. Item 5: • Draft work scope for Engineering Services has been prepared. Anticipated cost for Engineering to be less than $50,000. Project will be listed in the Central Register for solicitation of services. Need to have the parcels formerly transferred to the TRA from the City. Jim will speak with City Law Department to get process started. Item 6: • MassDevelopment has been helpful with presentations in regard to available loan / grant programs available through theft office. OECD will attempt to prepare a ‘cheat sheet’ on the available programs and the anticipated uses. Item 7: • Taunton Federal Credit Union accounts. LS will look into obtaining up to date bank statements. TFCU accounts will be closed and transferred to Bristol County Savings Banlc. IF will work with BCSB to remove Mr. Roth as signatory on any accounts. TRA February 22, 2023 Meeting Minutes — Page I Next scheduled meeting for the TRA will be March 22, 2023.
