Item 2: • Update on Whittenton Urban Renewal Plan - A discussion was held. It was noted CC was to request a transfer of $39,000.00 to OECD to pay for the new MEPA requirement. CC has not informed the TRA if this is in the process. Discussion tabled until November meeting. Item 3: • Harvey Street Project Status - DA reported with the rain the second perc test has not been done. One perc has passed and will try to have a second lot perc. Item 4: • Mass Development Loan/Grant Programs - Taunton received approval for engineering design for Weir Street next to Bobby’s Place. JPa stated MASS Development was approving projects related to housing. The focus appears to be stressing the need for housing in the Commonwealth. Item 5: • a) Other Business - Northeastern Study Students are working on Bacon Felt and the Weir Waterfront. Study to be - completed end of November. • b)TDI Program looking for new MASS Development representative. Looks like they will be having a Sign & Facade program for the Whittenton TDI area along with store front improvements.
